CDL Pass Plan (cdl.alphamf.com) is operated by AlphaMF, Ben Tsiyon Blvd 14, Tel Aviv, Israel ("we", "us"). It sells a $19.99 one-time CDL permit-test study plan, paid through PayPal and delivered by email. This page explains, in plain words, what data we keep and why.
1. What we store
When you continue to payment, we store your email address together with your three answers (which test, when, how you feel about it), the price you were shown, the date, and which ad (if any) brought you to the page. After you pay, we also store the PayPal order id and transaction id, the amount, the payment status and the time. We do not store your name, card, bank or postal address.
2. Why we use it
Only to build your plan, email it to you, answer you, handle refunds and the pass guarantee, and keep the records the law asks of a seller. If you leave your email but do not pay, we may send you one message about your plan; that is all. We do not sell your data, share it for anyone else's marketing or add you to other mailing lists.
3. Payments (PayPal)
Payment happens on PayPal's own pages. PayPal collects and processes your payment details (and, if you have one, your PayPal account details) under PayPal's privacy statement. PayPal tells us that the payment went through, with its order and transaction ids and the amount.
4. Anonymous usage counters
The page sends us small anonymous events (for example "someone tapped Build my pass plan today", which answer was picked on a question, "someone went to payment"). They are counted per day and are not tied to a user ID, a cookie or your IP address. Your browser's local storage keeps, on your device only, which ad brought you, the day of your first visit, and your email and answers while you pay, so the page still knows them when PayPal sends you back.
5. Ads measurement (Meta pixel)
Because we advertise on Facebook and Instagram, the page loads the Meta (Facebook) pixel. It reports to Meta that the page was viewed, when someone starts the plan builder, taps the price button, leaves an email, or completes a purchase (with the price), so we can see which ads work. Your email is not sent to Meta. Meta may link these events to your Facebook account under Meta's privacy policy; you can control ad personalisation in your Facebook settings. We do not load the pixel for our own test visits.
6. Server logs
Like every website, our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. They are deleted automatically after a short period and are not combined with the customer list.
7. How long we keep it
Purchase records (email, order and transaction ids, amount, date) are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. An email that never led to a payment is deleted on request, or within 12 months.
8. Children
The page is meant for adults preparing for a commercial driver's license. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
9. Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about your email address, to correct it, or to delete it (except purchase records we must keep by law). Email michael@alphamf.com. We answer within 30 days.
10. Changes
If we change what the page collects, we will update this page and the date above.
